Just over a year ago I broke my leg in several places and also my knee . The staff at Leicester Royal Infirmary were fantastic I couldn’t have had better care . Mr . Abrahams excellence and expertise has resulted in my leg now being 95% back to normal and I cannot speak highly enough of him . I saw him at every outpatient visit which was very reassuring. The fracture clinic was very well organised and nothing was too much trouble . He advised me of the best type of surgery for me and I felt I could really trust him . If you are his patient, listen to him and do what he advises you to do because he knows what he is talking about and you will revover in the minimum amount of time. I know I did. I would recommend him to anyone who needs this type of surgery. Thank you so much .

Mr Abraham has been extremely helpful with my son. Two years ago my son had pain in both knees and we were referred to Mr Abraham for examination and MRI, the results were Synding Larsen Johansson Syndrome. He explained that it’s short lived and a part of teenage boys growing, he advised physiotherapy. My son recovered within a short time just as Mr Abraham had explained. However, 2 years on my son has applied for The Army as a junior soldier and was rejected due to his knee condition he had 2 years previously. We contacted Mr Abraham’s secretary Julie Keeley and explained our situation and said they would be very happy to put together an appeal letter and I am very pleased to say that my son won his appeal and it was all down to this wonderful team of kind people. We were overwhelmed with the quick response and they even asked if we could let them know how he got on. Very caring team, keep up the good work :)

I took my 14 year old son to see Mr Abraham following problems with his knee over a period of time. I really liked the way he spoke directly to my son about his problems and when he suggested that his condition was related to cognitive behaviour I thought my son may think he was making it up. However, the explanations that Mr Abraham gave him assured him that he wasn't and a recommendation of cognitive behaviour therapy was advised. We followed this up, as suggested, with some physiotherapy and after a week started to see improvements. A month of physiotherapy and he was discharged and is now back to doing sports with no problems at all. People underestimate cognitive behaviour therapy but it really makes sense and is well worth looking into some more. I will definitely be recommending that people look into CBT as a way of treating some conditions.

Mr Abraham understood my condition perfectly and suggested a treatment that the other doctors didn’t offer to carry out. He carried out three surgeries and kept me and my parents informed throughout. Two years on, my self-confidence has improved a lot thanks to Mr Abraham and my condition doesn’t affect my life anywhere near as much as it used to. I’m really grateful for everything Mr Abraham has done and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone.
